Our Story
Queer Families Together was founded by Alexis G. Williams, a queer person with a trans partner, who spent years wondering:
“What would fertility look like for us? How would we navigate parenthood in a world that wasn’t built for families like ours?”

That quiet questioning sparked something bigger.
Too often, LGBTQ+ families are made to feel like we have to prove our legitimacy—like we’re only valid if we look or parent a certain way. From confusing fertility options to the erasure of trans and nonbinary parents, the systems that should support us often fall short.
So Alexis created Queer Families Together:
A space where queer, trans, and gender-expansive families don’t have to explain themselves.
A space where love builds homes, and care is not conditional.
Our Mission
Our Mission is Clear:
To advance equity for LGBTQ+ families by addressing the lack of access to direct support, inclusive family-building resources, and affirming education so that queer families are protected, resourced, and celebrated in every community.
